Did the 2005 Superhawk only come in titanium?
 

I have 05 Hawk and it's a candy blue color, looks nice, but I can tell it's been painted. I wasn't sure if it was repainted the factory color, another year Super Hawk blue, or just some custom blue color. The paint code sticker is scratched up so I can't read the number but when googling around I found a few paint sites and when selecting the 2005 Super Hawk it only lists Titanium as the color.

This all started when forum member jerryh sent me a link to a blue seat cowl on eBay because he knew I was looking for one. I googled the part number listed on the ebay listing (it was from a 2003) and it shows Candy Tahitian Blue. Didn't want to bid on it until I found out if it's the same color blue as my bike but it looks like Candy Tahitian Blue wasn't a color for 2005 and then I see Titanium as the only listed option and thought it was odd to just have one color that year but I've seen that on other bikes before.

YR183M Titanium Metallic for 2005 (in the US, other markets may have had something else)

Thanks for confirming... After seeing the YR183M paint code I looked at my sticker on my subframe and it looks like that's what it says... can definitely make our the 183 part and the Y and M are barely there.

I love the blue but that that I don't know what color it is in case I need to get touchup paint or try to match up a seat cowl though. But at least now I know it's not stock.
