Daft question! which way is Off/On/Res on the fuel tap?
I feel like such a noob asking this, is it the same as usual hondas?
As such: Fully anti clockwise = On Fully clockwise = Reserve Mid way between the two = off ? Desperate to know as I'm supposed to be doing 150 miles tommorow and don't want to run out completely! |
There is no reserve... It's either On or Off... The "reserve" is the RLOD on the dash telling you that it's time for a pit-stop...
BTW your not really supposed to fiddle with it unless you are removing the fuel tank... It is vaccum operated and "closes" itself when the engine is turned of.. If you are new to the bike and have no knowledge of the accuracy of the RLOD on your bike and fuel consumption/range once the light comes on.... It might be an idea to get a small bottle of fuel for absolute reserve if needed... I usually carry one for when I'm out playing in the hills on unknown roads... |
Oh crap, I don't have a dash on mine (or much of anything else)
Thanks for the quick reply, guess I'll just have to strap a jerry can on the back. |
