That is the beat all of beat all's. I have never seen anything so useless or rediculous in a very long time. I wonder how long he will actually own that bike.

VTRsurfer 07-16-2008 04:39 PM

Somebody had to do it.
About 30 years ago a guy attached dichondra sod to every square inch of sheet metal on a '49 Mercury. Now that was cool, but it weighed a ton...especially right after watering.

captainchaos 07-16-2008 04:43 PM

It was cool a bunch of years back at daytona the first time I saw it-I saw the starboyz do it. It's kinda not as funny anymore though...okay maybe it's still a little funny in person, especially the really long black fur when it gets the windblown back look...

HRCVTR1000 07-16-2008 05:09 PM

I guess its like riding a YAK with a 600cc motor shoved up its A$$ !

clarkwebb 07-16-2008 05:59 PM

I thought it was hillarious. It's like shag carpeting you can take on the road with you. Who wouldn't want that!

CentralCoaster 07-16-2008 05:59 PM

If my bike gets fleas, do I go to the dealership, or the vet?

peterpanic 07-16-2008 06:49 PM

johnny honda has a very nicely furred Hawk!

Bill Zebub 07-16-2008 07:09 PM

It must get real heavy in the rain :)

The "stuntas" originally started doing it to cover crash damage, unfortunitely it's taken on a life of it's own.

gboezio 07-16-2008 07:27 PM

Good way to fix a lowside for cheap

NovaWildcat08 07-17-2008 07:56 AM

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to ride it or shoot it.
I wonder how much it would cost to stuff and mount.

codfish124 07-17-2008 08:08 AM

thats a fury sheba

RickB 07-17-2008 08:59 AM

A buddy of mine had an old Norton covered with snake skin which was different and cool but that fur is anything but cool

Aren't many bikes look cooler than a black and gold Commando.

I used to own one just like that picture, except with flat black Dunstall exhausts. The one bike I most wish I'd held onto.

The yellow ones looked good too.

Hammer7205 07-18-2008 03:24 AM

If you blow-dry it, will it shrink?

PUSHrod 07-18-2008 11:42 AM

Lesee now, in the catagory of stuff I don't understand a furred out motorcycle is up there, then there was that whole decade or more of vinyl on the exterior roof of cars, (came right from the factory like that!), free spinning hubcaps, phart can mufflers on four-bangers, tassles on hand grips on bikes and then, THEN there is the fashion statement popular with the 'mercan iron crowd...Butt Cheek nekkid chaps.

Scoutpilot 07-18-2008 02:06 PM

WOW, what was that person thinking!!!!

haknslash 07-23-2008 05:06 AM
