A couple wheel questions

Im currently doing some research on the 900RR/F3 wheel swap. a few months ago I hit a pothole while changing lanes on the highway and put big bends in both of my stock wheels and the cost of repairs is as much or more than purchasing a set for the swap.

I have a few questions

1. I know that any of the 900RR rears will fit, but will all the F3 wheels fit? iv read something about how some have some mount for a speedo sensor and won't work but im not sure if its true

2. Alot of wheels from Ebay need to be straightened, what does this entail and how much does it cost?

3. is painting a bad idea or should i look into powdercoating, and if i do decide to powdercoat how expensive is it?

Thanks guys, I figure with as many people on the board having these wheels and custom paint/powdercoating someone could answer these questions

900rr rear will fit.
front f3/f4-avoid f4i

you could paint centers and polish lips or powder whole wheel.
powder is more durable of course.

search the CBR forums. That's where I found mine for pretty cheap.

As for fixing rims.... Iv'e found a few sites, this one has some AMAZING repairs...

http://www.framestraightsystem.com/Alloywheel.htm

From what I see, most are in the 125-150 range per rim according to the sites. Not cheap, but if your looking at a 250 dollar RC51 or VFR rim... probably well worth the cost.

Anybody got a photo of white wheels on a red SH?

Propably a lot of wiping off chain sling, but I saw it on another bike with this color scheme and thought it looked sharp.

WRONG! The F3's will fit perfectly. The F4 and F4i are the same and will not work.

They will fit but aren't as wide and can only accept a 170 tire max.

Hey, thanks Beber.

I think I'll stay with the red. The white's not quite what I thought it would be.
