California bike related shops .. ?
 

I am going to be in LA and around the area October 17th - 24th and am interested in visiting any bike related shops that are worth a look.

It would be kewl to pick up some special accessories, or to check out good bike places.

Can you recommend any??? :D

OK, .. Are Cycle Gear good people to deal with,.. to get a helmet. ?
OR, .. Brockton Cycle Centre's mail order ?
OR, .. Cycle Mall ?
OR, .. Star Cycle ?

Any help would be good,.. are any of these bad to deal with ? :roll:

Bert's Mega Mall is probably one of the biggest. They are in Pomona
Chaparral is also very large, but mainly "off road" They are out in San Bernadino
Del Amo Motorsports is big too. They are in Manhatten Beach.

What part of LA are you going to be in?

THANKS for the leads Random,.. but they all quoted prices US$50.00 more on the helmet I was after.
I will still go and visit them later this month. :lol:

In regards to helmets, I always buy online. I'll go to my local dealer to test fitment, and quality, but the online prices are just SOOO much cheaper. My last helmet was in the $600+ range at my local dealers, and I picked it up online for $425 including shipping.

Until the Helmet companies fix their pricing structure to favor the local dealers, I'll keep buying online.
