bike is finished!!

well going to get my bike today. I'm slightly concerned that with it not taking very long (parts typically take about 4-5 days to get), that they didn't find anything with the coolant leak... Either that or they did and it was an easy fix or had a part on hand by some miracle. I'll have to wheelie test it when I get home I guess. hehe

It really stinks when your bike is in the shop and its nice weather to ride... Hope all is right with it now! Its raining here in the northeast...

Sweet. Hope it's back to 100%.

omg it runs great. i'm actually a lil scared to do my normal power wheelie in 1st cause it seems to have a lot more get up and go. stupid brake reservoir bracket is cracked though. ima ghetto rig my old one to work somehow temporarily...

Did you find out what they did to it?

EngineNoO9 Nov 17, 2006 06:51 PM

I'm not sure of the settings and don't want to rip it apart. I can figure out the jets np but needle settings... nah. I went for a long ride today and it was great. I'm so pumped right now

Good to hear it. Maybe you should call the shop and ask the tech. It'd be easier than tearing it apart I think. :) Hell, you paid for it. You should at least know what they did.

EngineNoO9 Nov 17, 2006 08:02 PM

I think I might. I'm thinking he probably adjusted the fuel mixture/needles and jets. there's no more popping on decel (well just a tad every now and then), no more stumble, just power all over
