Banjo bolt
Anyone know where I can get a dual line banjo bolt with a bleeder?
|
Any of the companies that build aftermarket lines should be able to supply you with the bolt. With a bleeder? Mmmm - not sure about that one. Prob not. I think that's one you're just going to have to tough out or live with. Erik used to piss and moan about the air bubble in my brake lines. I contend it's not there and it's just the stock mc. Brakes are like chicks. Some people like grip in different areas than others. My setup will grip damn hard - almost too hard at the outset. It doesn't fade but after the intitial bite it just holds. If you pull harder and hold it down it will stoppie at a hundred.

The double banjo bolt goes at the MC right? Are you talking about the long bolt that the banjo's go onto? I've never seen a bleeder there.

I can also get you one of these from Venhill.

with the bleeder the final assembly can get pretty long especially with the dual line set up. It can get pretty cumbersome and interfere wth other lines/spaces in the tight space up front. Might want to go an easier route and pick up a used newer 600/1000rr MC which has a bleeder at the MC. More compact and they can be found on ebay very cheaply. Just a thought
