Awesome ride today
 

Santa Monica mountains. Just before my ride, I saw a red SHawk coming away from Decker Canyon around 10 AM. I was sippin' some coffee at the Coffee Bean when I heard it. Perfect weather, around 75°, sunny. I took Decker Canyon to the ocean (I love that road). Went North on PCH to Yorba Buena. Yorba wasn't as good as Decker, the road surface is older and there was more gravel and washboards, but fun anyway. Took YB to Mulholland and that all the way to Las Virgines. The Rock Store was packed with bikes, maybe 200. Headed toward the ocean On Las Virgines then went back to the mountain tops on Piuma Rd. Finished it off heading down Las Flores Canyon. From the coffee shop to PCH @ Las Flores was 55 miles of twisties. Bike handled nicely, I think I'm close to dialing in the rear shock (Works Performance). Finally scrubbed off the last of the chicken stripes, though I didn't really feel like I was leaning over that much, the bike just felt planted the whole time. Even when I hit some bumps I couldn't see while braking and got a little wheel chirp, but that was about it.
Lots of bikes of all types out today. Most everyone waved back regardless of what they were riding. Even a guy with a stretched out chopper gave me the peace sign.:)
