Fellers! The family and I are planning to spend some time w/ my sister who just built a house near Hilton Head SC. We are leaving 12-20 through 12-30. I am wondering if it would be worth it to trailer my Hawk down? If there are any good roads close, could you share them please? Her address is in St. Helena Island. 6 hours to the tail is wayyy to far!! That'll have to wait for another trip.

 

I'm not familiar with that area. I use to live in Charleston and its mostly flat land around that area. I'm sure there are a few roads around there but nothing like up near the dragon.

 

I'm planning on doing something similar to what you are considering Wolverine.

Heading to Myrtle Beach in March, want to bring the hawk. May ride south from there, probably visit some friends in Bluffton SC, then continue south into Florida.

It'd be a good way to break up the winter. My riding seasons usually mid April-Oct.

Anyone have any good links to riding roads/ hawk-ers in the area?

T-rex is correct.. It is very flat... Even the curves are flat.
Now there are a couple race track near the area. That could be a bike attraction..
