APE CCT's falling apart?
 

So after my first long ride after installing the APE CCT's I'v come back to find the adjustment bolts loose and having slid halfway down the volt, the center pin that holds them in place halfway fallen out. meanwhile anytime I tighten down the locknut it tries to round off, like its made from some type of cheaper metal...what gives, these things are turning out to be kind of shotty.

mine didn't seem to be soft, and they have never loosened, APE knock offs?

Mine are top notch, i even bought them used off of ebay. Second bike they have been on and no such issues.

Sounds like you got non-APE CCT

I think they are not metric bolts, so if you are trying to tighten it down with a metric wrench you are likely to strip it. Also it sounds like you didn't get it tight enough in the first place. (I put lock tight on mine too just to be sure, might make it a pain to adjust in the future, but I didn't use the super strong stuff)
