A friend of mine is using those on his ZX12R. They are bright. But leaves a little to be desired as far as appearance goes.

I just like that they don't stick out very far, and with LEDs you shouldn't have to replace bulbs ever.

I looked at those but personally I think they look like crap.

A couple of months ago I put on turnsignals

I spaced them out with 2 washers for the approporate fit. They look good and are superbright!!! They are LED's 30 in there I think. The finish is nice and they look good.

Take a look at what I installed on my Hawk. They are super bright and are wired for a 3 wire set up. It goes along with my whole clean and mean look.

Nice 98 where did you find those and how much?

kmm996 07-29-2005 08:11 PM

Hey nine eight,
Nice touch. I agree with superhawk22. Where and how much? I'm using the medium Iridium flush mounts from Lockhart Phillips on mine, and they also offer clear iridium replacement lens for the rear. They make for a nice match set.

I bought them from a local guy here in Seattle. He does have an e-bay store, link-- http://cgi.ebay.com/Honda-Flush-Moun...QQcmdZViewItem

His name is Dave. Just email him and ask him to wire them for the 3 wire setup if you want the dual purpose style. He guarantees his pruduct to last pretty much forever.
On my lights you can make the middle 3 lights the runners or make the top and bottom lights the runners. The opposite will be the turn signals.

He does not make a SH specific light since the SH fairing is spaced pretty far from the frame.
I had to build a U shaped bracket to space them so they were flush with fairing (just took some simple fabricating). I also used the wiring off the stock signals and integrated it into the LED's so I was able to use the plug-in style connectors.
I have not had a single problem with them since installation.

98 do you have a problem with people cutting you off? I bet you do!

Those signals (like most flushmounts) look nice, but they arn't seen by oncoming traffic. For me that poses more of a problem than anything.

I like to avoid all the blue hairs down her, and God knows that they old eyes need somthing obvious to catch there attention.

Just my 2 cents

Hey D.I.D. I have flush signals as well and I live in south Fla. where we have more blue hairs then you. To take care of that problem I bought turn signal mirrors to have front vision. I also stuck some cheap running lights from an auto parts store in the ram air in the front fairing. You would be amazed how bright those little LEDS are.

nineighthawk 07-31-2005 07:22 PM

The LED's are installed at an angle facing forward and project one bright ass beam ahead. They are brighter and crisper than a bulb.

I have seen them from ahead and they do the job just fine.

I also have a LED installed in the running light above the head light. It's a Single super bright LED. It makes ppl. look at my bike.
