Anyone here live in the Dayton, OH area?

I've been trying to find a SH to test ride because I'm interested in buying one, but I'm not having any luck. If any of you live in the Dayton area and would be willing to let me test ride your bike, I'd be willing to compensate you for this privilege. BTW, I am an experienced rider with 35+ years of riding experience. Thanks.

I own a house in Dayton, but I'd rather not... It's been on the market since last JUNE! I have no idea if he'd be game for it, but check with Greg (one of the mechanics) at Sporty's Honda on the north side of town. He rides a VTR w/ V&H pipes. Again I don't know if he'd be game, but he's the only other VTR guy I know in Dayton. I'd be glad to let you ride mine, except I'm in DC now...

When will you be back in Dayton?

When the house sells. I winterized it last August, and don't intend to do anything until I sell the thing.

I guess I'll try getting in contact with Greg.

His name is actually Doug. I was able to go look at his Hawk today, but he wouldn't go for the test ride thing. I even offered to pay him. It did sound very nice! He let me sit on it and it doesn't have nearly as radical of a riding position as the SV1000. He had the handlebar risers as well, which helped mellow out the riding position. Meanwhile, the quest for a test ride continues.......
