Aftermarket drive chain adjusters

Let`s try this again....

Does anyone make a set of aftermarket (drive) chain adjusters for the VTR (same as 900RR, F4) similar to the Gilles,...? I have done some searching but come up empty so far.

thanks in advance

I know what your up to mikstr, your really just lookinf for an excuse to put on a rc swing arm aren't you?

nope, will keep my current set-up, just looking for some nicer adjusters.... While I am confident the SP2 swingarm offers certain advantages, I don`t need the headaches of doing the swap and don`t really want to add 50mm to the wheelbase. Besides, the braced unit I have now is plenty rigid and looks good to boot.

First of all, it's 37 mm, the swingarm is 50 mm longer, but that's in a straight line, not how it's mounted... Second, it's easy peazy...;)

But honestly no, I haven't seen any adjusters for the VTR... Apart from gilles, who gladly makes you a set... And charges you for the bike along with them...

I imagine it could be done, but we`d need some numbers and I have already been through one recruitment drive (the cries for dyno charts still ringing in my head) and don`t really feel like going through the experience again.....

I would imagine that aluminum adjusters would be very easy to strip out thereby rendering them useless.
