90degree Choke Boot

1 Attachment(s)
Howdy all,
After some extended searching here and in parts explosions, I'm still not finding any information on the 90 degree rubber choke boot. Just got Jack Flash's new brass fittings but one of the boots is also ripped so I need a replacement. The most i found searching here is that 'thedeatons' was also looking for this at one point but it was a dead thread with no replies. Bike bandit lists the whole assembly as I've indicated in the attachment (they call it 'Valve Set, Starter') but I cant find a part number anywhere on just the boot. Am I screwed? Do I need to buy that whole assembly? I'd certainly like to avoid that because I only need the boot and that whole assembly will run me $30...

Any ideas? Thanks fellas

They do tend to dry rot and get brittle after awhile but it's only sold as a complete assembly. Can you mend it with heat shrink tubing?

I found you have to buy the whole assembly to get the boot.

I called motion pro, and sent them pictures of the stock boot... They didn't have a replacement :(

Unfortunately, the cracks are all right down in the corner crease of the collar that fits over the carb fitting so there's not a very good way to patch them with shrink wrap.

Thanks for chiming in James, I was curious what you ended up doing. Looks like I'll just buy the whole assembly :(
