try putting the 2 letter word in quotation marks i.e. "R6"

thefauxnarchist 10-04-2010 07:46 AM

tried and didnt return anything...funny, i do that for google to do an explicit search, but im wondering if here, the search code searches for quote-r-6-quote -_-

nothing 10-04-2010 07:48 AM

haha yep that could be the case. I would just use goog e to search the site in your case

Try "replacement mirrors" in the SH search engine, here one that turned up

or use Yamaha instead of R1/R6

Use Google. Something like this:

Narrow the search using typical Google / Yahoo search strings.

I hope no one is thinking I'm being a smart ass. The term:

r6 mirrors site:superhawkforum.com

on Google will search this forum MUCH better than the internal search engine. You can also just search the forum for images. Much easier.

that's fucking classic. I told 'em it was broke a long time ago. Problem has persisted through at least three incarnations of this website. Another reason posting and linking your photos to other respositories is critical. If you store them here - they will be lost here.

1: Very few, internet forums search engine let you use a two character variable for searching. It just returns too much crap, unless user were smart enough to use the full power of Boolean searching.. see point #2

2: The search engine used here and in most every other on line forum I use is Boolean capable. Read the attached document.

3: Here, try this.... seems to work for me.

I'm not knocking this search engine. I just learned a long time ago that Google gives better results.
