Since I can't advocate the shameless use of posting to increase your status, it would also be wrong for me to reveal that you become a back marker at 25 posts. Therefore I won't mention it.

To be honest, I don't have a clue! I just picked something from the standard avatars. Maybe I'll try and change it to something more interesting.

I'm guessing it's supposed to be a squirl. It's ugly either way and that's why I picked it. I'm trying to shrink a picture down to 140x140 now, but it seems I don't have any decent software installed to do so. I'll figure something out here soon.

So what are points? and what good does donating them do?

I don't know that the points are really anything, just a measure of how involved in the forum you are. And yes 25 is the magic number to reach back marker status.

Actually if you look at the statistics page of the forum its kinda cool. It shows you percentages and bar graphs.

That and the fact that I look at everything as a race.

I knew there would be a photo editor hidden *somewhere* in XP. As usual, it wasn't that hard to find, it just didnt' make sense where it was. Problem solved and ugly squirrl turned to roadkill.
