Time for memory lane.....

Here's an oldie so that we don't forget one of the greats.....

I was there.

Still get goosebumps when I watch the video. Got told that the combustion chamber shape and head/piston fitment were inspired by the Rolls Royce Merlin engine. What a great heart thumping sound it made as it accelerated out of the International Horseshoe turn. I could feel it through my bowels.

Wow, just wow. Dude made all his own stuff in his garage. Much respect. Following links on Youtube, I could sit for quite a while watching and learning about this bike. Thanks for posting that. Super cool man.

Whats funny is the R/R is the only thing he didn't build and of course it fails.

Still remains one of the "hottest" bikes on the planet, IMO.

Awesome story. Awesome bike.

Thanks for that! I never get tired of watching that story.

Can anybody help me find more information on the engine? I just want to see what it looks like (exploded view, actual pictures, etc.). Their website doesn't even show the engine. They just show a page a specs.
Those two exhaust pipes exiting the heads has me intrigued.
