I myself don't ride, I passenger, but I get super dehydrated on rides and I'm not one to make a fuss about it and have Squid pull over somewhere. So my question to you guys is this. Is there a way to route a camelbak tube or something through the helmet or something without ruining the structural integrity of said helmet?

Tube usually goes up through the chin area. Not sure why you'd wanna cut/run it through your helmet??

I've seen some motoGP riders with camel packs under their leathers and they do the same thing, up through the chin area. you could mount a clip with some double sided tape like the servo tape we use in RC (Racers Edge Narrow Servo Tape (3/4") [RCE1500] | Radios & Accessories - A Main Hobbies) to the inside of the chin piece so the tube is near your mouth so you can just bite it. i've hung an aluminum sign to the side of a trailer before with this stuff, trust me once its stuck you will have to want to get it off to get it off (and use a bit of acetone or alcohol).
