Okay, so the wheelie machines are not a Hawk - but you see one a couple of times.

 

Nice! I met Gary Rothwell back in '97 at a track in CA. I think it was Thunder Mt. or something like that. I don't recall for sure which one it was at the moment. Some classmates and I drove over there while we were going to MMI. He's a super cool guy. We hung out with him for a couple days and we were helping him work on his bike and get his jetting dialed in. Was super fun! I have a pic of my friend and I standing on either side of him and he had his head through the center of the tread on a tire that he'd burnt off so long that it nearly split it in two! LOL!

Pretty pathetic the guy in the vid wasn't man enough to actually let him try for the record one more time.
