In pain for being stupid
So I am out washing, waxing, lubing the chain today just after the rain this morning. Thought I would run it for a bit to see why the choke will not stay out when I set it. Bike looks nice, but it needs some more graphics on the side to make it look non-vanilla.
I shut it off to go study and I push it into the garage in my shorts. Bike is angled a bit so I step into the bike for some leverage. Why do I feel pain, but it feels like a........ oh shit, hot exhaust on an exposed leg!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid me today, silvadine and aloe on it and one giant blister popped today. God, I feel stupid. The other part is the wife's fault but I had taken apart my Magna brakes to rebuild them and I had the parts out on top of a box. The wife decided that it was time to move the box, so the pins, clip and bolts are gone on a complete dual brake setup. Got them on ebay for $20 but I guess I need to buy those parts again. What a day. |
Been there and done that...... and for the choke, there is a plastic knob under the rubber bit on the choke. Just tighten that up a bit and the choke will stay out. ;)

Done that one too.......ouch.
