Beware the CF Disease! Duc's are definitely at risk, but known to strike other machines. Just look at my '08 'Busa.

Congrats! I've had my 1098 for about 4 months now and I like it a lot. It might come as a surprise to some, but I still ride the VTR most of the time.

finepooch 11-05-2009 05:16 AM

oh yes jamie, i remember your thead. is the bike 100% now? i'm glad you're enjoying it.
the vtr is a great bike. i will not give mine up. currently it's lowered for my lady and the handling is messed up. i'd like to get a second one for myself.

Sleeper 11-05-2009 05:26 AM

NICE !! Congrats:)

Wait. Is that a US model?
I don't see the snow plow attachment points that come standard on the Canadian version.

finepooch 11-05-2009 06:35 AM

i use a snow blower! ;) hahahahaha
yeah, us model

It's still pretty wadded but mechanically ok. I don't have enough money for Ducati parts!

You think the VTR's suspension is messed, just wait until you find out how horrible the 1098's is...... I just recently got mine setup to a decent level.
