I bought a new mistress. I pick her up Wednesday.. *sniffles* now I have to sell the race bike. Justifying 2 bikes is hard.. 3 is impossible. On the plus side I will now be taking the VTR to the track till I can afford to swap her for an RC51

97 ST1100, 56k miles, $2600, All stock but the Corbin seat

I know. But I've got a bad hip on the left side and I've been doing a lot of 2 up riding with mom (more 2 up than solo in the last month) and it just made sense. The VTR hurts me riding two up when I have to brake with any kind of authority. This will be much more comfortable for the both of us. I test drove an M109R two weeks ago and it just wasn't me. Even mom told me I looked like a fat old Harley rider  plus you would think with the numbers that bike has power wise it wouldn't be the gutless pig that it is. at 3500rpm running 70 (of a 6k rpm redline) it wouldn't pull in 5th gear with just me, I'd have to downshift.

I'll still take the VTR when I'm going to the mountains or want to ride spirited, but I think I will ride more having the ST

Lol +1

I will say, for high speed touring, like on the 80-100mph south-west Texas roads, those bikes would rock, and I'd rather go with that than a GoldWing.

Wolverine that pic is horrific and U should be ashamed of urself for posting it. U owe us all an apology.

And there is nothing wrong with a ST moto. I've been thinking of one for years, but I just can't get rid of the VTR - I have way too much invested to sell it.

And that's a great price.

Have Fun Insulinboy
