Haha unfortunately I can say I'm old enough to remember when Superman 3 was new...long before the chive came out (think it was before the internet too ;) )

VTR1000F 09-09-2014 08:11 PM

Unfortunately, I remember Superman 3 as well.

CrickiKaze 09-09-2014 08:33 PM

Ditto, in fact all the superman from that time. Doesn't help that my mom worked at a video store rental either at the time.

Superman 3? I remember watching George Reeves as Superman on a small B&W TV Saturday mornings.

HAHA I do too but I'll admit they were reruns by the time I watched them. I was always fascinated by the fact they had almost the exact same last names....Reeves and Reeve. And saddened by the fact that both men who played Superman met such tragic ends.

I miss all those great shows. Batman & Robin; they'd hide the fighting with big color KAPOW & BANG on the screen. Beverley Hillbillies with Let me tell you a story about a man named Jed....
The Little Rascals, My Three Sons, I Dream of Jennie, ahhh was she hot ! :O)

I don't subscribe to it, but there is a supposed Superman curse that has affected some that have been involved in the production of movies/plays/comics depicting The Man of Steel.
I still crack up every time I see "evil man of nothing" It's an instant classic.

It really is. I don't think that crazy bastard who said it to me had any idea either... I miss Captain Chaos/Dom Deluise but I just don't think a picture of superman sitting at a bar (extra points for his filthy superman costume and 5 o'clock shadow) getting hammered will ever grow old.

Well, if it ever does grow old, you can always change your screen name to CaptainUSA.

Or, Rex Kramer "Thrill Seeker". Anyone remember The Kentucky Fried Movie? Haha

Or, Amazon Woman on the Moon? Arsenio Hall, "Look, the bitch don't live here!" Man those movies are funny as hell.

And Airplane. I always see something new happening in the background, even after watching it a crap load of times.
