Kensley Miranda Wilson was born October 28th, 2009 at 10:23pm. She was born 7 lbs 13 ozs and 20 inches long. The wife had a long and painful 16 hour labor but it was worth it! We are so happy to finally have lil Kensley home with us.

Figured I'd share the new with you guys :headbang:

These was the day she was born....

Kids are the greatest thing in the world, enjoy them every single second you can. Don't worry about the wife, she'll come around in a little while. Don't bring up another kind for at least a year though unless she brings it up first.

Great looking kid!

Congratulations!

Beautiful. I've got to tell you, little girls are one of life's simple joys for a Dad. There is something very special about a father-daughter relationship. Just remember: it's Mamma's Boy but Daddy's Girl.

Tweety 11-03-2009 06:12 AM

Congratulations!

tbartley 11-03-2009 06:28 AM

Congrats Hack! The first pic of her with her eyes open looks like she is very aware. :) From what you say...she'll progress quickly. Enjoy her while you can, brother, because the time is gonna start flyin' by.

Beautiful little gal. You're a lucky man. Glad everyone is OK.

ttocsmai 11-03-2009 12:15 PM

Congratulations, may she be healthy, and wise. Isn't it customary to by something for the motorcycle to say I have had this since you were born?

haknslash 11-03-2009 01:37 PM

Thanks guys for the support! And yeah lots of practice hehe. We had been trying for over 2 years, not that I'm complaining though ;)

I really wished I would of taken advantage of sleep like everyone suggested prior to the baby being born. I think my eyes are recessed into my face a good 2-3 inches now haha. I look like a tweaker LOL.

Baby is slowly but surely learning the schedule. She has her days and nights mixed up but she's slowly coming around...I think....or hope at least :)

RickB 11-03-2009 01:52 PM

Congratulations!

zmaniv 11-03-2009 03:23 PM

Congratulations, the first year is one of the hardest. After a bit everything just falls into place.
Sleep whenever you have a chance.

A young man that worked for me from the time that he was a sophomore in high school until he graduated from the UT IT program (6 yrs) was a huge athlete. He would bust rocks for me all day - hit Mom's kitchen and head to the gym.

Everybody that knew Robert knew he would have sons, be a wonderful father and be an inspiration to the new leaders of our nation.

His experiences with me prepared him for his position with the oil exploration company that supports his three daughters.

Between Momma and her three musketeers - Robert is the most insulated male in the Sun Belt.

Angie is unfettered. While Daddy goes out and is the scientist: you have to become the doctor, you have to become the attorney, and you have to become the next governor. Get to work!

Congratulations, my kids are just about all grown up now and it happen's faster that you can ever imagine. Take the time to be a great dad and instill the proper morals and values in her and you will be rewarded for your efforts as they become adults.

Always remember that the most important people in your life is your family. At the end of the day, the only people that truely care and will remember you forever is your family!

Congrats again, Doug.

finepooch 11-03-2009 06:13 PM

congratulations! she is a cute baby!

as for having two, ours fight a lot!

judging by your screen name you are a hockey player, or fan.

Hawk9807 11-03-2009 06:22 PM

Congrats Hak!!! Hopefully she will get her schedule figured out soon. We were fortunate with both of ou daughters, had both of them sleeping through the night by six weeks old. It can be extremely rough when their schedules get out of whack.

nath981 11-04-2009 08:51 PM

thank god she doesn't look like you. Could of been a rough ride for her, huh? :D Good job Dad!

Wolverine 11-05-2009 05:58 AM
