Are F4i's 50 State Legal?

Does anybody here know for sure whether or not F4i's are 50 or 48 state legal... (emissions wise of course)?

inde;

Almost all (if not all) bikes come in two versions; a "49 state" model and a Mexifornia model. Any 49 stater can be reg'd in Ca. if it has 7500 miles on the clock, otherwise not.

Yeah, I know about Cali's 7,500 mile rule, I was just curious as '02 up VFR's are 50 state bikes. The F4i I'm trying to sell only has 3,000 miles.

OK. I see what you mean now and remember reading about the "50 state" '02 VFR.

I think at least through '02 F4i were two versions. Seen web ads for '02 "49 state" F4i and Dynojet lists different fuel maps. Don't know about later years. What year is yours?

It's an '04.

http://www.hondanews.com/categories/70/releases/1766Found a Honda Motors spec sheet on the 2004 F4i which states "California version" mentioned at bottom.

No sweat. Good luck selling the bike.
