2001 Kawasaki ZX-9R

You know , those bikes rock but have been over-shadowed by the ZX-12 , Busa's and now , the ZX-10 . But try riding a new 10 for any distance

Some dyno sheets I've seen have the Busa " stock w/ pipe " at 156-158 hp and they be a bit heavier than the 9R + the 9R will sting a Busa in the twisties or on track day .

A simple bore kit bumps the 9R to 160whp and still maintains the 50-55 mpg hiway mileage and a carb kit and good slip-on makes for over 140hp .

Those 9R's are really capable bikes

LMAO , next topic wll be " I just bought a low mile pristine 2001 ZX-9R with an Akroprovic pipe "

Is it just me or do these new bikes have no forward rake?

sweet, I love the 9s, and if I found one for the same price as the VTR, I would be on a ZX9R message board right now.
