WTB TPS

Looking for a working throttle position sensor.

I've got a complete set of carbs with a TPS on it. TPS from Ronayers is $82.46. Part number is 16060-MBB-680. My carbs are only $75 + shipping. PM if interested. I was about to put them on ebay since they didn't sell here. They'll easily go for $100.

Ron ayers is great if you can afford to wait 12 days to receive it.

I guess if you bought his carbs, you could turn around and sell them sans the sensor and recoup most of your money.

Have you considered researching the car unit or trying to make the harness fit it?

Appears to be the exact same unit, but the plug comes off at a different angle. If the harness will still reach, it may work. Plus the car unit is cheap. I did some research and they were talking about the same range of resistance when setting it, so it probably has the same internals. Honda doesn't sell them separate from the throttle bodies though, but others do.

I almost went that route (or to the junkyard) before finding one from another member here.

Ok, I see what you are talking about.

Has anyone around here used the car TPS on their superhawk?
