Risers
I looked those will they accept the bar end weights.

I used VFR bars for some additional rise and pull back. Cheap, but take some tinkering to install, to include tripping of the faring to get full use of turn radius and no interference with switch gear / hand position.
My next set of risers I use will be attached to a new bike I think. http://uweross.org/Uwe/VFR/NewVFR3.jpg |

Apex Adjustable Riser Clip Ons from SportbikeTrackGear.com A lot of position options, and good feed back on them price $219 http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...pons_1_600.jpg BUT as they are UNDER triple clamp mounting.. wounder how much actual rise they will give over OEM or VFR bars? Have to go do some measuring. Im about done with the SH unless I can raise the riding position up some more. I hate to do it, but it's either change position or stop riding. ...and Im not going to stop riding  |
I don't think you mount them under the triple tree on the hawk I'm sure they mount where the old bars do.

VFR bars helped me a lot, they mount in the stock position...and there's a few styles that work: 90-93, 94-96, 98-01. Anything after 01 is 43mm (too big for bolton). They actually allow rise by year also. BTW, Hawk bars will also fit, but they're much taller, and will probably require cutting the fairing. The Adjustable ones pictured look nice, but a little spendy. Also, do they come with weights...or allow the stockers to fit?

Yes those Apex's do look good, but I'm thinking that cable/brake lines will need to be changed, si?
