Wanted: A good used ** CHEAP ** Starter
 

Title says it all. I need to see if my starter is bad or my engine is grenaded.

bump start it, no $$ involved.

I had someone push me and I tried to compression start it but the wheel just skid and would not turn. And trust me I am no small person.

Try it in a 3rd or 4th.

Is the compression lower in 3rd or 4th? I did try it in 2nd.

I get it now. THe wheel should be easier to turn. DAH! :)

Have you pulled the starter and tried to turn it over off the bike?

No not yet. Just would not start last night. I will try the lower gear idea first. If it still does not work then we go intensive.
