I was always intrigued by this bike. They're not up for sale very often. Anyone have an extra 75k laying around? I really dig the race bike in the picture with the single sided swingarm and dual underseat exhaust, though I don't know if I could bring myself to do that to a museum quality bike like this. Not that I could afford one but I wish they'd build a new one. Too bad it's not their "target demographic." I know it probably doesn't perform much better (if even as good as) a stock superhawk but it's just SO damn cool.

That is one of just a few Harley's that would be cool to own. Very cool.
Way back when I had a roommate who bought a 1977 XLCR that was very nice, (Not close to a VR but iconic Harley IMHO). He let me take it for a spin and I came back with a ear to ear grin..... although I was missing a few fillings that shook loose, well worth it.


I wonder what the HP/Torque figures were for the VR, not that it matters? Might have to Google that one out of curiosity.
