Used Pyramid lower belly fairing. SOLD TO BRONCO78.thanx

Here are the pics as promised. What you see is what you get. This one fell off the bike (aluminum brackets broke) at deals gap and got rashed up , so it needs to be painted. the mounting hole of the front right needs a spacer ring arount it as the fiberglass broke half way around it as you see in the pic. the belly is high quality and you need to fabricate brackets out of sheet metal for it. I fabricated some aluminum ones but they broke under cornering Gs pressures. The bike is for sale so I won't have any need for it. My loss is your gain. Make me an offer, I am pretty flexible on the price. Please no lowballing. No it is not free.

It's going to need some work as I can see, but how does $40 shipped sound? Please don't get offended if it's lower than what you're expecting. Gotta start the offering somewhere, right?

GL selling your Shawk.

Have you thought about selling the rims to someone, with an exchange for their old ones. Should be able to get some $$ for them.

Oh, and don't worry about the CCT PM from the other forum. I read some archives here and I think I have a pretty good grasp of the install.

Not at all, I am not offended. As far as the work needed, the scratches need to be smoothed out and the whole thing needs to be painted anyways to match anybody's bike. Any other offers??? Superhawk22 has first dibs. Then apbrian112, then mikstr. Let me know guys.

Re: FS: Used Pyramid lower belly fairing.

Hello,

let me know if you don't hear back from Superhawk22 and apbrian112 for I would be interested in taking it off your hands (e-mail me at motoetsports@hotmail.com). By the way, thanks for respecting the "contact order" in terms of those who expressed an interest in buying it. It says a lot about your honesty and integrity.

cheers
Mikstr

No problem mikstr, I hate internet cons, and I try to be honest. I am gona give those guys a couple days and send them some pms. If you don't mind, PM me your offer, or you can post it on here, I really don't care. So far I have 40$ shipped, but that very low. i am thinking shipping is gonna be around 20$. No way I would sell that lower for 20$. Just gimme what you can really pay for it and we can talk about it. It looks really sharp on the bike, check it out on page 5 of the album.

Sorry AZZ, thanks for the pm and I'd love to give you a better offer. Unfortunatly, I just locked up an aftermarket shock so my funds and the wife's patients are maxed out right now. Again sorry about that and thanks for giving me first dibs you're a stand-up guy, good luck on selling you're stuff. It really is a shame I've always liked the clean lines of your bike.

Hey not a problem dude. An aftermarket shock is a whole lot more important. What kind is it? Ohlins? Fox? My finances are looking a lot better right now, maybe I don't have to sell afterwards. we will see.

It's an Italian made shock called Bitubo, It includes preload adjustment, ride height adjustment, high and low speed rebound damping, and 12 way compression damping on the reservoir.

Hams, I have been on an Rc and it is a nice bike, but with all the mods that I have done to my bike, I would take it over any RC. I love the Hawk.

I got it off Ebay for $325. I did find a couple of places that carry Bitubo shocks wether they stock it I'm not sure. I think it goes for just under $700 new. I'll try to post the U.S. supliers that I found later.

Funny that's what I was going to offer seems fair to me. Wish I still had the money.

So what is this mystery price? Perhaps others may agree that are lurking and it will sell quicker.

edit: Doh! I just saw the title after I refreshed.
