Universal Fit Saddle Bags For Sale

7 Attachment(s)
New saddle bags, very high quality, universal fit, semi-soft, quick-detach, thickly padded, aluminized bottoms, water-resistant, with cinch straps, carrying handles, all mounting hardware and installation instructions. Sold as Yamaha part number ABA-4X773-00-00 and cost me $200+ new. No longer available but Japanese build quality not Chinese or elsewhere.

I test fit them on my VTR and while they will work OK, someone who can fab a simple base plate that extends over each side of the saddle so the mounting straps hang the bags a bit off the seat cowl due to our narrow saddle, should snap these up. I’ve had these for a couple, 3 years in a plastic bag in a cedar closet but ended up getting Yamaha FJ-09 with Shad SH36 side cases and SH46 top case for my heavy-duty sport tourer, and bought some Nelson Rigg small, soft molded saddle bags and small tail pack for my VTR. But for someone who wants to really tour on the VTR, these Genuine Yamaha saddle bags are it, and for those with a red VTR, these bags have a small red horizontal accent stripe.

Asking $65 OBO plus shipping. I’d say 36-liter capacity each and the red stripe matches the RED VTR well.

Cynicism and sarcasm are the Devil's weapon LOL but you get what you pay for and every other saddlebag not made in the United States (one manufacturer) is made in China or some 3rd world country these bags are made in Japan based on the info I have.

Well I was sincere in my comment. If I didn't already have bags I would be on them.
