Super Hawk Forum Discount

Hi All,

I've sold several sets of Venhill SST brake lines to members in the past and I wanted to let you guys know what's new. What started as a couple of dudes selling mail order brake lines out of their garage has expanded over the last year. We now have a small bricks and mortar shop in Henderson, NV, and a small web store. We're calling ourselves Jersey Designs. We carry a wide range of aftermarket parts and accessories and are adding more all the time. We do installations, service and repair, as well as design and fabrication. We have full 3D modeling capability, plus tube bending/welding and a small prototype machine shop to go along with our service bay. We'd love to develop some products for the Super Hawk. Between us we have over fifty years of design and manufacturing experience. We still have our day jobs, but if things continue to grow we'll eventually make the jump from part to full time.

So now I'll get to the point and tell you about our Super Hawk Forum discount. Previously we offered a discount on Venhill brake lines, but now we're offering it on ALL products purchased via our web store. Because of obligations to our vendors re: advertised prices, we won't publish the discounted prices. To take advantage of the offer you'll need to purchase via Google Checkout and enter the coupon code: “sh-forum” upon checkout.

Our focus has been to find products that combine high quality with reasonable prices. That's why we love Venhill so much. We personally use the products we sell so we can vouch for their quality. Keeping in the best bang for buck tradition I'd like to plug some other products: Bremzen, Supersprox and JPS Performance. Bremzen has high quality performance brake pads and rotors at great prices. Supersprox makes a unique hybrid rear sprocket that offers the light weight of aluminum with the strength and durability of steel. JPS Performance makes levers that are priced between the cheap Chinese ebay levers and Pazzos. While not in the Pazzo class, they're superior to the ebay ones and outstanding considering the price. We can also polish and/or custom engrave them for a small fee. Of course we have most of the top name brands as well, including Pazzo, Galfer, Vortex, etc, but these products represent some of the best bang for the buck.

You can find us on the web at http://jerseydesignslv.com/

Just click on the “Store” tab for online ordering.

We're adding new vendors and products all the time so if you don't find something, please contact us, we can probably get it. We're also looking for opportunities to make parts for the SH so if there's something you need, hit me up. I'll be using mine as the fitment guinea pig. Feel free to PM me with any of your inquiries or special requests. A few pics are attached, including the replacement frame slider pucks we recently made for a friend's FZ6, just to give you an idea of our capabilities. The original vendor went out of business so we were able to fix him up after a minor crash. Well, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Awesome! Anytime I can get a discount is a good time.

ranchomice Mar 8, 2011 09:15 AM

Sounds real good man, good luck! My only wish is that the word Jersey wasn't in the name. All I can think of now when I hear that word is a bunch of ugly fu&%ng guido's and nastly looking dark haired tramps! lol

Hello,

I would love to argue that those stereotypes are false, But sadly I DID have friends with big hair and a few IROC-Z's lol:D

Although nobody on that sad little show is actually from NJ. Good Times

If you could do new oil cooler lines for the Hawk that would be great and I bet everyone would buy a set.

That is a Supersprox Stealth sprocket. I know they make a 530 for the SH, but I've never seen a 520 for our bike.

I just sent them a request for information.....

Thanks all. Will try to answer your questions but first I need to investigate why coupon code did not work.

Well guys I apologize. Looks like my little webstore experiment failed right out of the box. I appreciate your patience while I work out a bug with the coupon code. I now see why Google Checkout was so easy to set up, they have no real support just a forum where if your lucky somebody will repsond to your post.

Regarding your inquiries: Venhill makes a wide range of hoses for all motorsport applications so I'll see what I can put together regarding the oil hoses. I'm wanting some for my Hayabusa too. I'll also check on a 520 sprocket for the SH from Supersprox.

Uchi, I think the only answer to your problem is a longer hose. We can have the Venhill hoses made to any length with any combination of fittings you need on there. If you can PM me the length you want, I can give you a quote for a single line plus fittings that will include the SH forum discount. Just tell me how many inches over stock length you want. One hose plus fittings would be fairly cheap even with custom length.

Saige, regarding mid pipes, it'd be hard to make a generic high mount set without knowing the exact location/size of the slip-on's inlet. I have Leo Vince high mounts and could probably backwards engineer the mid pipes, but no garauntee they would mate to anything but the Leos. Did you have a set of cans in mind? Then there's the mounting of the cans themselves. Not sure how feasible it would be but I can certainly investigate it a bit. No idea on cost at this point but alot would depend on volume: one will be more expensive than several.

Can you give me a price quote (w/ forum discount) on the Supersprox +1 rear 520 alum/steel, 16T front 520, and a couple of chain options for the conversion. Hoping to throw a forum member some business.
