Yes, front fairings are getting rare, especially in good condition.

Upper looks to be OEM with a crack and a small scratch. All tabs intact. I’ll post some more detailed and dated pics tomorrow. Lower is sharkskinz

Sounds good. I'm out of touch with values for this bike but does $350 plus shipping sound reasonable for all of those? I also want to be sure you know the upper has a crack on the arm close to where the mirror attaches. See pictures above.

 

Yeah, I can do that. May need a couple other things as well. Had a 25 mph lowside on sand and pea gravel. Still in assessment phase. Saw the crack on the upper. LMK what the total is with shipping when you get to that point

I will check and let you know. I have not started parting the 03 yet but I think I have the 99 headlight available still. I'll reply here tonight.

 

Have not begun parting out the 03 yet, but I will make that decision tomorrow based on possible interest in buying the whole bike.

 

Update on what's available. The 03 is still the same as in the pics above. I'd like to sell it as is and I'll take $1000. Come and get it in Massachusetts. There's plenty to be made there even if you were to part it out. I just don't have the time or space to part it, although I will if nobody want's the whole bike. The red bike I have stripped down to frame, engine, forks and swingarm and i have been parting out stuff bit by bit. I still have the seat and seat cowl from the red bike (surprised they have not sold) and the front fairing, belly pan and tail fairing which are all around 8-9/10.

Maybe you don't understand exactly what I'm asking about;
The front stay is the odd shaped piece that is held onto the headstock or steering stem housing on the frame with 2 bolts on tabs/bosses. Its the part that the gauge cluster and cowl attaches to at the point of the side mirrors. It's steel.

 

The front stay for the 99 was sold. I have the 2003 one still. It looks like I will be parting that bike out because there seems to be no interest in buying it as-is.
