A useful 2001-2005 VTR trouble-shooting tool at a good price: $60.00 plus $5.00 shipping. This unit came from a low-mileage 2003 VTR1000F (with only about 10K-miles on the odometer). This is an ordinarily expensive part ($347.43 at wholesale-zilla), here at a low price of sixty bucks. It thus makes an excellent trouble-shooting tool for the CDI ignition system of the Generation II VTR1000F, something attuned to the trouble-shooting needs of the VTR1000F enthusiast. You can always complete a "quick-and-dirty swap," to verify that the CDI ignition problem isn't in the CDI Convertor Unit. Or, it might serve as just an affordable backup part for a VTR-specific item that might fail some day, and that will some day be out of stock at the parts wholesalers.
