Parting out '99 SH in Nevada
 

Hi all,

Was working on converting my 99 Super Chicken into a street fighter. Started collecting parts and tearing it down a couple of years ago. Things have since changed and this project is now cancelled. The bike had about 43K miles and was running fine when tear down began.

Since it's already apart, I'll be selling it off in pieces. I'll update this ad as I take pictures and establish prices. Scroll down for all the pics. If they don't sell here, I'll try ebay. What Comp are the pistons? What comes with the kit?


Sorry for probably stupid questions but not see a kit here.

What material is new cover on the seat? Is the foam original OEM or has it been replaced / modified in any way?

Where in Nevada are you located?

The "kit" includes 2 forged aluminum, 11.5:1 compression ratio pistons, 2 wrist pins and 4 retaining clips. The seat is original foam with vinyl cover, no mods and I'm in Henderson, just like you, Aquasnake. I got a bunch of stuff to list so maybe save some shipping if you want any of it. Soupy's lowering links and a front fork conversion will probably be posted next. More to come.......

That's pretty high compression ratio, OEM is 9.4:1.
Anything else they recommend modding with the pistons?

Is this tank still available? How clean is the inside, if so?

Still available. I haven't inspected the inside recently so I can't answer with confidence.....lemme remove the cap and take pic or two. If you like what you see, we can do the deal.
