Anodizing?

Powder coating is good....but Anodizing is way cooler.....check out anodizing kits on the web...Anodizing, or anodising in British English, is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Just my two cents.....I will be ordering three sets next week... .....Excellent craftsmanship on these items!

I got my block off plates today, that was quick. They look great, but I'll have to wait a couple more weeks to install, due to my recent knee surgery.

And thanks for doing this for Forum members!

Then you're stuck with the unsightly hoses on there.

superdutyd, bought the block off plates about a month or so ago. I bought the black anodized plates so they would look OEM. They look great because they are unnoticeable. No more popping, gurgling and farting. Bike sounds much better now. The part fit is right on and the quality is awesome. Such a simple little thing but makes a big difference, in my opinion. Thanks for a great product! I like to buy parts from SH riders and fabricators so to keep cash in the family so to speak.

+1. It looks a lot cleaner with the block off plates and if you buy them from a fellow rider you are helping to keep parts coming for everyone. Support your local Hawk rider where possible!!
