Mario Nava Front/Lower Fairing for sale

Just testing the waters here before it goes on ebay....I have a set of slightly damaged Mario Nava Fairings for sale. My bike unfortunatly fell over (left side damage only) and my insurance company replaced the fairings so im going to sell these to try to recoup my deductible...

They are damaged....not too bad, but since i have good insurance, i decided to replace them.

There is only one crack in the fairing, its about 2 inches long and could be repaired if you know what your doing. The paint on the fairing I would give it a 7 out of ten. There are some scratches on the upper and lower and thats pretty much about it.

The only thing it does not come with is the mounting hardware. I have spoken to mario and he stated it would cost about $50/us currency to have the hardware shipped from italy.

New fairings cost $1200 shipped from italy and that does not include paint. Im thinking of $450 for the fairings/obo + actual shipping costs...I think that is a decent deal. Let me know if you think that is too high.

Let me know if there is any interest.

Thanks...

Eric

Dibs on lowers.

How much for those?

superbling 07-15-2008 02:06 PM

That is a matched non-oem set. The lower will not "work" with a standard upper.

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I will pass in that case.

Really great looking bodywork, though. When fixed and painted it's really outstanding.

:eek::eek: DAYUM!

That has to be the best loking VTR I've ever seen!!!

I suspect that full kit is top $$$$$. Anyone know what a full kit, headlight and all runs?

I'd like to know the mod list they did on that bike too. Swingarm, frontend, the works it seems! Definitely looks like it is a blast to ride!!

My slide rule for used parts is good to excellent is worth 50% of new plus freight. Fairings don't ship cheap. I think you should revisit your price as these look pretty busted up. By the time a member pays you 50% of new, has them welded, painted and mounted with the non-included hardware he's at 75% of new. Hardly worth it. Just my .02

Ok....what price you think would be acceptable to sell for...I am just looking to make some cash to pay for my deductible. Not looking to get over on anyone...

Let me know the ball park or if someone is looking but thought my price was too high...let me know.

To help out who ever is going to buy these, as well as epleeds, the cheapest way to get these shipped it take a trip to your bike shop (bicycle) and ask them for a bike box. You can bubble wrap the fairings and they fit perfectly, and will ship accross the country for less than $30.

*edit* I see that upper is 1 large piece. In that case, ask them for a box that bicycle tubes come in, or whatever their accessories shipment comes in, and you should be good to go. I recommend a bike shop because the parts are usually heavy, so they use heavy duty, double corrugated, thicker than normal cardboard boxes. And the fact the parts usually come from Taiwan or China, they have to be pretty resilient.
