VTR1000F Flywheel lightening service

Lightening service is $154.00 and that includes a new OEM gasket required to install the flywheel and USPS Priority shipping to the US. Non US locations will charged whatever the going rate is at the time.

The service gets you a 4lb 0X oz (exact weight can very an ounce of so no two flywheels to start at the same weight) Flywheel is not balanced post cut... For that see the many discussions on the Super Hawk forum and the UK one.
Many dozens of them out there in use not balanced after lightening, to include two on my bikes and one on my brothers... no issues noted.

You can send me a flywheel and I'll use it (as long as I don't find any damage in the taper, keyway or basket) Or you can buy a used on one eBay and have it shipped to me direct. Again as long as no damage all good…Look closely at pictures provided, if you’re not sure send me a link and I’ll have a look for you, and or suggest you ask for a specific picture.

If you want to skip the ebay shuffle or dont want any down time I have some spares on hand. If you're interested in buying a lighted flywheel outright vice taking a chance on an EBay or sending yours I can do that as well (subject to availability I have 4 on hand as of Dec 2018)
$210 gets you a fully lightened flywheel no spare or exchange required shipped to your door including the required side cover gasket.

SHIPPING

Shipping to me:

For shipping a flywheel to me I suggest USPS Priority mail, use a medium size flat rate box. Pack the flywheel well. It's heavy and has sharp(ish) edges that can cut through the box when roughly handled.

So wrap it, and then pack tightly in the box. Secure the box with shipping tape..seal the flaps and then use three piece of tape in both directions around the box.


Shipping back;

I ship USPS priority mail and that is including $50 of insurance. If you want/need more insurance, no issue, I'll add on whatever you want to pay for. If you want a different shipping method, I can do that as well at your cost, tell me what you need I'll price it out and let you know.

So I have a lightened flywheel on hand....not normally the case.
