Give your wife a ninja 250!
I have a 2001 ninja 250 with 6167 miles. It was a theft recovery and basically just needs an ignition. The bike is intact and in good condition so I'll sell it whole or parts. The bike will run with a charged battery and ignition. $1000/0ffer

You might want to look on www.Sportbikes.net in the WTB section of the classifieds - they get a lot of beginners looking for bikes.
BTW, what kinda gas mileage do you get on that? 65mpg?

Well I just put a new ignition on it today and it seems the carbs are full of gunk. I had to take apart the fuel valve as it was full of god knows what. I don't know how to clean carbs, wish I did, this bike keeps trying to start.
