Nice. I just took a k&n from autozone that fit one direction and trimmed it to fit. I paid $40 for the filter and it took about 10 minutes to make. works fine. I was wondering why the k&n were so damn expensive... I didn't realize the whole plastic piece was replaced...

You should take a pic of that mod it sounds interesting. I have a K&N thats been sitting around but have not put it on yet because of being told I would need to rejet with the D&D pipes. What pipes are you running and what difference did you notice if any.
