For Sale: Rare Staintune Stainless High High pipes with Billet Hangers. I just got some Yosh Ti cans off of this forum as I'm getting ready to take a long trip up the Cali coast and my saddlebags won't work with high pipes. These are in near prefect condition and include removable DB killers, SS Clamps, graphite sleeve gaskets. $450 plus shipping
I agree, but they were a little loud for me until I put some DB Killers in. In my area they are starting to Sound Gun loud bikes and cars. If you get cited it has to go back to a complete OEM system to get signed off!

Are these roadside locations that you can pull in the clutch and coast by?
Not really, they hide between parked cars or they just here you as you ride or drive thru town. So far it looks like just Laguna and Newport beaches, so far. I have a couple of friends on both forces that say the majority of bikes are straight piped Harleys, a few IL4's, and a bunch of Lamborghinis.
I got left negative feedback years ago from some jackass who bought an aftermarket muffler (Mig) from me off Ebay. Later called and had it removed, much to both his and my amusement (he actually threatened me because he said I never listed it as "off road only"). It happened to be made in Europe, where they seem to often write things like "not road legal" or "off road use only" on the pipe. I had previously had this conversation with a gentleman at either Two Brothers or Vance & Hines and, at least in America, NO aftermarket exhaust is actually street legal. Figured this was common knowledge to everyone and, as long as you don't act like a jackass in public, you're usually ok. Obviously things are a little more laid back here in Florida, and I'm the last person who wants any further regulation of any kind, but I never really understood how drag piped Harleys always got a free pass regading this sort of thing...
VTR, I PM'd you as the Staintunes are on their way.
Captain, They had a lighted sign on PCH in Laguna Beach reading "LOUD MOTORCYCLES WILL BE CITED" . So, being the ornery old man that I am, I went directly to City Hall and suggested that that may be prejudiced as there are plenty of extremely loud Lambos and other High End sports cars in this beach side as well. I also contacted the AMA with this tidbit. Don't know who did what, but now it reads "LOUD VEHICLES..."
It's the little victories. LOL

Haha awesome, good for you, and you're absolutely right. Yeah these days around here (and I'm sure everywhere else too) every hoodrat with a fast food job and 28.99% interest rate has a Charger or Challenger you can hear from 3 blocks away and they all drive them as if they're LOOKING to get arrested (or at least noticed for their stupid Instagram page they all have plastered on the side of the car). Honestly way more obnoxious that any Harley ever was. One of my neighbors bought a Scat Pack Charger during (he couldn't wait) his divorce and I was shocked how loud the car is from the factory, nevermind when they sTrAiGhT PiPe it. I may be getting older too but I think the government is just like F$CK it, sell as many as you can because we don't feel like bailing anyone else out again and the local municipalities can just write more tickets or deal with it.
