Bolt on Brake upgrade... EBAY

Not my auction... but saw this and figured since there was a current ongoing thread on this topic, someone would jump on it.... the pads alone are like 60 dollars... good luck...

As a newb hawk owner I lean over and look at my bike and see Nissin calipers already on my bike. What makes these better save the pads as I'm guessing they are upgrades.

Bigger caliper overall, it uses a bigger pad & bigger pistons.
More clamping force & brake torque, etc.

Well, I've been watching these ones for a bit myself and definetly have the interest, though I'd rather not get into a bidding war with someone here, so let me know if you're that eager for it. And yes, I am the only bidder for now.

I'm not going to bid on it so don't worry about me sniping the auction.

Red face

Anyone know what mods were made to these to fit?
They look nearly identical to SHawk calipers.....

Calipers differences

Here are a couple of pics to see the differences of the F4i Caliper (on Left) and stock Superhawk caliper (on Right). All that was done to make any of the 929/954/RC51/F4i calipers fit is mill the bottom bolt area a bit to clear the caliper mount. Not much to it at all.

F4i and all others I mentioned above have bigger pads and pistons than the stock caliper...

Yep, I won the item, looking forward to doing some winter work of my own as I amass all the pieces. Looking outside at 3 inches of snow on the ground is rather conducive to such hoarding, I guess.
