If you ever wonder up north on the Multi, give me a shout. I think mine is the greatest bike on earth! What year/model did you get? |
The multi is a red 2012, about 11.5k with a taller windscreen and sargent. I'm pretty pleased with it but the bottom end under 3500 is a touch rough. I'm planning to get a topcase for it and the full on tuneboy with cruise and quickshift. How bout yours?
New price drop $2100 |
Where are you? mileage? |
It's got around 24k on it. I'm in Manassas VA, Just realized I have never updated my profile since I moved almost 10 years ago. Not that it was a far move anyways.

Price drop. 2k. She's gotta go.
|
$1800, This is getting real close to part it out for a profit territory I believe.

Do you have it for sale locally on CL, etc? If I were you I'd pull most/all of the aftermarket parts off to sell separately. While I feel the audience on here is dwindling a little for that stuff it's still always in demand and worth good money. Debaffle a pair of stock pipes so you give whoever looks at it a hard-on when you start it. That way you can drop the price and more than make up the difference selling the aftermarket stuff separately. In any sort of decent shape as long as it runs ok you should pretty much be able to give it away for $1500. Sorry I'm not closer or I'd probably drag it home. I'm down to only 4 bikes (3 of which are projects) which has to be a 10-15 year low for me...

Yeah, It's up on CL. If it weren't for insurance and taxes making it so untenable I would just work on my painting skills, give it a good clean and polish and hold on to it but with space at a premium currently. It's such a shame motorcycles in general don't hold value but it's understandable when you consider a few grand is a down payment and then for two hundred a month you have a new one. Of course for a used one there are no payments and the depreciation is largely gone.

New price drop $2100 I have a '10 S with the full Termi kit. Bought it in Chantilly. Ducs in general aren't happy below that RPM, so I've been told. Is what it is, if ya don't like it, add a few teeth out back (so I was told). If you are wondering about rubber :nana:... the Michelin Road5's are awesome on mine. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sup...0d7de76d07.jpg Are ya on any of the Duc forums? |
I have the 2012 S touring as well and I love it, it is geared a bit high as usual to most Ducati models, you can also get a smaller by one tooth front sprocket without replacing the chain.
|
I'm thinking of adding the tuneboy along with the accompanying cruise control and quick shift. I've heard a good tune really smooths out the bottom end. It already has a sargeant seat and tall windscreen. Other than the tuner the only thing I would add is a top case. I joined Ducati.MS but have mostly just lurked and read.

If you'd be interested in selling extra's.. I'm currently looking for a fix on a rashed pipe. The 2 Bros cans, any pics?
