98 frame. clean!

5 Attachment(s)
frame from my 1998 superhawk. i took the bike apart about 5 years ago with the intention of at least fixing my shift forks and transmission gears as it was missing shifts pretty bad. but 5 years later, i havent touched it, and i'm not going to. so spring cleaning, and i find this frame, and figure why not try to get a little cash for it, to put into my 08 crf450r sumo.
anyway, reply to this post or pm. i have like 20 high resolution pics that i can send via email. a few low resolution follows...

this frame is straight and in "average" condition. the only real damage i included a pic of (last pic), and other than that, the usual scuff marks from the seat rubbing, and marks on the inside of the frame from wires, hoses, etc. i do not have the spacers to mount the engine, nor the castelated nuts.
title: clean, clear, and in hand. i will provide the vin upon serious request.
asking $500 with shipping included. i can probably do paypal, but dont currently have an account. (but how hard can it be to set one up?)

Parts?

you mean you sold everything but the frame? Where is the rest of the bike?.....Kind of steep for a frame with damage.....I bought a complete 98 running hawk for 500 last month......

the frame is about the easiest thing to sell so far, but i have almost all the other pieces of this bike, that i will eventually get around to posting..

First, you might want to edit out your email address and phone number, if people want it, they can PM you for it (plus it's in the For Sale RULES)

Second, is that a crack in the lower part of the steering head?

Third, with a name like VTRstunta & an email address of "thewheeliekid", it's pretty easy to figure out why you were missing shifts and dissassembled the bike, with that in mind I wouldn't expect to get $500 out of your frame, sorry if that ruins your day.

not at all, syclone. thanks for the constructive criticism! (and do you own a syclone?)
edited first post to not include that info...

Glad to see a positive reaction to criticism (even if it's possibly sarcastic?). Unfortunately, I don't know if you'll have much interest in a frame here, you might have to list it on eBay to get any real takers. That's just my thoughts, for what they're worth.

Good to know that it's not a crack, that picture makes it look like it might be.

Yes, I've had 3 Syclones, currently have one in real nice shape and one that is about 3" shorter than it should be, after being rolled at 100+ mph (at least the speedo is stuck at ~110, so we could only assume).

Edit: If you're going to be selling most of the bike in pieces, you'll want to setup a Paypal account. It's quick and the easiest way to take money online.

thanks man.. and syclones are sweet! almost bought one back in the day, but went with a toyota so i dont have to worry about reliability issues.
i figured i would see if anybody wanted the frame here first, before i did put it on ebay for the vultures. i'm not hurting for the money now, so i can take my time and try to get this frame to somebody that actually needs it (and not to someone that just needs a title and clean vin for a stolen bike)

super duper - i'll try to find that stuff this weekend... the fairing might be toast though, cuz it's been 'floating' around my garage for the same amount of time. so, it's probably cracked... i'll let you know though
