Hey everyone,
I am selling my 1998 Superhawk VTR1000F. I have a Lockhart Phillips leather tank bra, Highmount Jardine Exhaust, custom footpegs off of a CBR929 for the rear passager, rear seat cover, ect. The bike has 11,400 miles and it is mint. It doesnt have one scratch anywhere on the paint, it has never been laid down, and it has been owned by guys 50 years and older since new. It has also gotten oil changes with synthetic oil every 1500 miles since new. I have it listed for $4200.00 on cycletrader, but i will lower the price to $4100.00 for this forum. I noticed you have the black Jardine pipes. How do they sound? are they loud? I was debating between those and the ovals.

 

The pipes are perfect. They are loud but not annoying and they have a very nice exhaust not to them. They are also very unrestrictive and help free up a few horses.

 

I'll chime in too. Hell yeah they are loud! My neighbor's love me at 0530 in the morning

 

YEAH they are loud!!!! i have to wheel my bike a half a block away from my apartment every morning before i start her up...they totally ripp

you should list it on www.craigslist.com. I listed mine there and it sold in a week.

The bike is still for sale however and it is yours if you beat the offer the last guy that came to see the bike of $3600. That is a steal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
