You've got some competition on this forum - having the details posted would help prospective buyers.

 

new metzler sportec m1 tires, Factory jet kit, new EBC HH brakes front and rear and a pretty recent battery. lower fairing (not on bike just comes with it). red, 21k miles. never wrecked has a clean title in hand. recently syncronized carbs (which means it does not die at stoplights like a lot of them do). oil changes done a little too often, always with honda parts. runs great does not smoke. Nothing wrong with it, I just don't ride it that much and I prefer motocross to street riding so I am getting a new 450. I have six bikes in the garage so one has to go in order to get the new dirtbike and this is it. I live near kansas city (Overland Park to be exact). If you have any more questions that I did not answer here let me know.

 

Nobody must like these bikes but the people on this forum. This thing is impossible to even get people to look at. I think I would have better luck selling a Katuna! Is my price real far out of line??

 

I don't think it is too far out, but people on here already have bikes,,,,,you might try craigslist, it is free to list and sell....Include pics, people want to see what they are potentially buying....my .02 worth....

 

Be patient young grasshopper I had my heart set on a VFR, saw the SH and fell in love. Someone will bite.
+1 on craigslist.org, but since K.C. doesn't have a site (kinda strange), list it in the Topeka and Wichita sites.

 

I have it on craigslist, with a pic and a ton of detail. One guy have emailed me claiming to be "extremly interested" but will not call back since then. There is a place for kc on craigslist it is www.kansascity.craigslist.com. I also have it on sportbikes.net, kcsportbike.com, and kcsr.org, along with 2 weeks worth of ads in the kc star! Oh well what else can you do? I think if someone would just look at it it would sell, it is a pretty nice bike. Thanks for the input. Luke

 

I don't think so. I just bought a '98 for $4k with 21k on the odometer.
I would also list it on cycletrader.com.

 

I am close to puirchasing a 1998SH for 3500.00 ....and ithas less than 5K on it...so I think that if he wants to sell it he may need to drop the price to under 3500.00 for starters..Theres a whole lotta used bikes out there...
