nothing worse
as the title says!!! the worse thing than something ranted about is when you log into the forum and there is nothing new to view lol.
no new rants (or stories to read). Cmon guys there must be some new vids from ya all who own cameras , or interesting stories about riding out there, its a big ol' world and lots of vtr's (being they last so long).

Closed Road Video
Well here you go, don't think i have posted this up before, if so oh well.
This is a closed road event each June in KY. You can run both lanes as the road is closed at each end and the group goes one direction and waits for the tail gunner to give thumbs up, then rip down the road again. Each group makes 5 round trips.
Any guesses on what i am riding?

You need to putter through the dragon just to say you did it, but then go ride the Cherahola Skyway. Less LEOs and higher speed curves.

True, but more crashes and fatalities on the skyway than Deals Gap. Those Gaurd rails don't move when impact occurs. Be careful on the skyway if a newbie to the road, several turns decrease quickly and will bite you bad at speed.

Best time to run 129 is early in the morning before 9am or after 6pm till dark. Traffic falls off to nearly nothing. From 9 till 6 i head to other roads and typically stay away from 129

that would be nice...but most of us don't feel it getting up at 3 am to ride there (unlucky at being so far away). but it matters not as there are plenty of twisty back roads around here too.

Deals gap vid is awesome. Very trance-inducing like a ribbon. I have lost most ability to push hard on public roads knowing the unpredictable dangers. I can get around a track ok tho'
