******* Honda Owners Link

It seems Honda has split their owners links apart. Cages & Motos are now separate.

I have used the owners link since day 1 of ownership. I have ALL my service records there on all my Honda Motos. (4 of em)

I'm **** on my records, date, miles, type of work performed, etc.

So I go to sign in just now & see its a new site - I sign in & see that I'm mostly on the auto site, Um OK, I go to try & find my service records (which they state all have been transferred) and nada - *******

I finally nav my way to the Moto specific site & sign in and see this

Honda Owner Link for our Powersports' customers is currently undergoing a redesign and will be available again in the Summer of 2013.


Thats some poor assed customer service

They will be hearing from me tomorrow

It's Winter in Pa, there was no reason to go on it, really what would have taken them to send out an email?

OwnerLink Overview - Honda Powersports

Thus I called Cali just now and the guy says "We don't know when it will be back up, they will send out an email when it is"

Sounds like to me Honda doesn't have enough IT guys to accomplish, what I'm thinking is kinda of a simple task in the 21st Century.

Si or no?

I'm thinking 3 IT guys could get this done in 3 weeks?

Anyone want to guess?

Still not working - Oh Boy

They changed the site to say Jan. 2014 and then changed it again to say Early 2014.

I guess, I'll keep track the old fashion way - paper & pen...

So its still down & I called them in Cali

Got a very nice lady - and I stated that the IT guys are smoking weed in the basement & not working!

I gave her a good laugh - but they still don't know when it will be up & running - LOL

God Damn Liberal Cali weed smokers

Well time for my update

So I call them again and still no Bueno

I asked if they drug test the IT staff?

A guy I was speaking to, a Kiwi BTW, said they have no set date for when its coming back online, thats nice.

So with nothing else to talk about, we started talking about rugby!

I left off our conversation asking him to crack the IT guys in the head with a cricket bat...

Sooooooooooooo

Since my last update - I called Honda again to check if & when the OL will be back up ....

The guy I had on the phone today seemed helpful but didn't have my sense of humor about hitting IT guys in the head with a bat or drug testing them - no response when I suggested either item.

But he's going to try and search for my records on the Awesome VTR + my kids fiddy (had since new in 2004)

But it does sound like it'll never come back - thats some poor *** customer service.

FWIW I have 2 Honda motos & 2 Honda cars - don't think its too much to ask to get the OL for motos back up & running...

Oh well

I never even knew that a Honda Owners site to keep your records existed. After seeing this, I'm kind of glad I still keep paper records. Sucks that this happened to you and everyone else that kept records with them.

So the guy that I talked to today, just emailed me the data that they could find.

All on the Fiddy - which isn't much.

He stated that they couldn't find all of my records for the VTR

Great - really sad, maybe I should have my buddy who owns a data storage biz call American Honda to offer them some services...

Oh Well, where's my beer....
