Big piston fork conversion

Ive been wanting to change my front end as part of my rebuild, and have planned to go with inverted forks. I just found a really good deal on a set of Showa Big Piston Forks off a 2010Gsxr, and was wondering if anyone has converted to them, or if the ones from another brand would be better to use?
Any ideas or suggestions on which triple would be best to utilize? I have access to a lathe and Bridgeport, so some modification would be possible.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it the forks only, or will you be able to get the forks, triples, wheel, and brakes?

The problem is that they are a 50mm top, 55mm bottom. To use it with CBR or RC51 triples, you'd have to bore the bottom out by 1mm. Thus, it'd be easier if you could get the whole assembly, then get a company like All ***** bearings to send you bearings and races that would fit your hybrid.

You'll want to know the diameter of the stem. If it is similar size to the SP2 or late model CBR it won't work in the SH head. IIRC.

Check out Mikstr front fork conversion using 2005 ZX10 USD.

All the info is there and allows you to retain the original front wheel.

I am sourcing parts now to do the same.
